Install the Canopy

GP I :ENERAL RODUCT NFORMATION

This product is suitable for indoor dry locations only.

Minimum volume of the electrical box must be 6 cubic inches (98

cubic centimeters).

Model numbers ending in “-LED” or “-LED277” can be dimmed

with a low-voltage electronic dimmer, have a rated maximum output

of 60 watts, and are compatible with LED elements.

All other model numbers can be dimmed with a standard

incandescent dimmer, have a rated maximum output of 60 watts,

and are not compatible with LED elements.

Turn the power to the electrical box off.

In accordance with local electrical codes, ground the canopy

braided copper wire and the green transformer wire (if

attached).

Connect the white transformer wire to the neutral power line

wire with a wire nut.

Connect the black transformer wire to the hot power line

wire with a wire nut.

Place the transformer and all the wires inside the electrical

box. Use the adhesive pad to secure the transformer in the

electrical box.

Connect the canopy wires to the red transformer wires with

wire nuts.

Mount the canopy crossbar to the electrical box with the two

long #8-32 screws.

the applicable installation code by a person familiar

with the construction and operation of the product

and the hazards involved.

Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.
